Mahikeng –Premier Supra Mahumapelo of the North West Province has learnt with great sorrow and disbelief news on the passing of Clement Cebo Manyaapelo, a renowned radio personality who worked for South African Broadcasting Corporation’s Motsweding FM in Mahikeng.
Known by his listeners as CC, Ceb-man or Cebo, this great man of the air waves passed on today, Wednesday, 22 November, here in Mahikeng, after a long illness.
“Cebo was a knowledgeable, eloquent and gifted radio personality who was admired and respected by his listeners, young and old. In Cebo Manyaapelo, the North West Province has not only lost a good broadcaster, but an entertainer and a motivator whom many emulated and looked up to”.
“Words seem inadequate to express my sadness about Cebo’s death, and I hope Cebo Manyaapelo’s family, friends and colleagues will find comfort and strength in knowing that the North West Provincial Government and its communities share in this time of grief. Our thoughts and prayers are with the deceased family, and may Cebo’s soul rest in eternal peace”, said the heart-broken Premier Mahumapelo.
