Mahikeng – North West MEC for Economic Development, Environment, Conservation and Tourism – DEDECT, Kenetswe Mosenogi will on behalf of Premier Bushy Kaobitsa Maape, lead the provincial delegation that will have discussions about the possible forging of relations with the United States of America Consul General in South Africa – Mr Vincent Spera, who is on a 3-day visit to Mahikeng Local Municipality.
As part of this programme, the US Consul General will on Tuesday, 01 February 2022 meet with MEC Mosenogi and the management of DEDECT, North West Development Corporation (NWDC) and Integrated Economic Development Services (IEDS) at Health Department Boardroom,12h30, before meeting the Department of Health management at Protea Hotel in Mahikeng at 13h30. A welcome dinner for Mr Vincent Spera will also be hosted at the hotel by MEC Mosenogi at 18h00.
Consul General will on the second day (Wednesday, 02 February at Mmabatho Hotel School – 09h30) engage with the leadership of Mahikeng Local Municipality together with some traditional leaders within the municipality.
Consul General will on his 3rd and last day (Thursday, 03 February 2022) visit USAID and PACT supported Non- Profit Organisation (NPO) in Koster. The visit will be led by MEC for Social Development, Boitumelo Moiloa.
