ALL SYSTEMS GO FOR LAST PHASE 2 ACCELERATED SERVICE DELIVERY THUNTSHA LEROLE PROGRAMME IN RUSTENBURG LOCAL MUNICIPALITY

Mahikeng – The North West Provincial Government will tomorrow, Wednesday, 13 December 2023 deliver the last leg of Phase 2 of Accelerated Service Delivery Thuntsha Lerole Programme in Rustenburg Local Municipality at Lethabong village.
Led by MEC Patrick Dumile Nono Maloyi in his capacity as the Leader of Government Business, this week’s Thuntsha Lerole programme will encompass the official opening of road D520 from Makolokwe to Bethanie which has been upgraded from gravel to tar, as well as blading and patching of potholes in Lethabong, Modikwe and Vaalkop villages. A Community Care Centre in Lethabong will also receive new furniture and financial assistance from the department of Social Development, this in support of the centre’s HIV and Aids Programme.
Several other government services including consumer education and registration of indigents, online application for IDs and social support services, consumer inspections and distribution of sports equipment to local clubs will also be provided on the day. Identified needy households will as part of government’s food security programme receive food parcels and agricultural support packages.
Provincial government leaders and officials have since the launch of Accelerated Service Delivery Thuntsha Lerole Programme in July this year, crisscrossed the province where Phases 1 and 2 of this service delivery intervention initiative were rolled out, reaching and touching the lives of many communities in various townships and villages across the four districts of this province.
This last Thuntsha Lerole programme for 2023 is held during the week because Friday, 15 December has been declared a public holiday.
