Collaborative service delivery interventions continue as ASDP Thuntsha Lerole advances to Moretele Local Municipality

Mahikeng – The North West Provincial Government’s continued efforts to step up and provide the much needed public services through the Accelerated Service Delivery Programme – Thuntsha Lerole, will tomorrow, Friday 10 November benefit residents of Moretele Local Municipality which falls under the Bojanala Platinum District Municipality.
In a coordinated and collaborative approach, government departments, state-owned entities, the local and district municipalities will respond to service delivery challenges in villages including Dikebu, Lefatlheng and Mathibestadt in Moretele Local Municipality by patching potholes, clearing illegal dumping sites, conducting consumer education and registration of indigents, registration and updating of local businesses details on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), consumer inspections and the provision of agricultural support services to identified beneficiaries.
Acting Premier Patrick Dumile Nono Maloyi who will be accompanied by Members of Executive Council responsible for different provincial departments as well as the local traditional and Khoi-San leadership, will lead the day’s service delivery programme, which also include the handing over of a cheque to one of the local Non-Profit Organisations.
Phase 2 of the Accelerated Service Delivery Programme – Thuntsha Lerole is currently being rolled-out to local municipalities across the province, where intervention on service delivery challenges is prioritised.
A community feedback session will be held in the afternoon where the Acting Premier Patrick Dumile Nono Maloyi and the MECs will address the community on progress registered in implementing various service delivery projects and programmes.
